The traditional yearbook concept. With a 21st Century twist.
It’s a JPEG storehouse everyone can contribute to. And share.
Until now, the idea of publishing a school yearbook hadn’t really changed much in the last 100 or so years. But with the introduction of Yurbook things are looking up.
For example, we know only about 10-15% of photos taken are actually chosen for publication in the yearbook, but with Yurbook those other 85-90% are now fair game for students, parents, alumni and staff to view and share. All you have to do is log in to your school’s site and enter your access code.
Once there you can browse through the entire warehouse of images, download PDFs of your class yearbook, even upload and share photos you’ve taken (if you upgrade to the “Pro” level which is just $29.95/yr.) What’s more, those photos you see today will also be there to share with your grandchildren because once uploaded, all pictures are there to share and view today, tomorrow and at the class’ 30-year reunion.
No wonder people say Yurbook is “changing the way U look at yearbooks forever.”
Get the same printed yearbook every year. Plus a boatload of other stuff if you like.
Yurbook doesn’t change the fact that you’ll still get a printed yearbook every year — just like always. (Although we can help make it easier and more cost effective for your school to print their yearbook if they want us to.) But the cool thing is the annual hard copy is just the beginning.
Now since all your school’s photos are shared in one online location that everyone can browse through, members like you can also choose to order your favorite shots on a whole bunch of other stuff like calendars, hoodies, postcards, mouse pads, etc. Members can even choose to have a collection of photos printed in a special mini book that documents trips, sporting championships, drama performances and the like.
